Europe
The figures underlined in the table below are derived from the official adverse events database of the European Economic Area, EUDRAVigilance. Further injuries and fatalities for Europe lie behind Vigibase, a WHO sponsored adverse reaction website only accessible by health professionals on the payment of a fee.
Figures to 19th June 2021
EUDRAVigilance: 15,472 deaths and 1,493,794 injuries. Given that official data are known to under-represent real-world injuries, if those figures represent 10% or 1% of the real total, fatal injuries would extrapolate to 154,720 or 1,547,200 deaths in Europe respectively.
Vigibase: 640,000 additional injuries and fatalities.
UK
The figures underlined in the table below are derived from the official UK adverse events database, the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.
Figures to 16th June 2021
Yellow Card Scheme: 1,356 deaths and 973,435 injuries. Given that official data are known to under-represent real-world injuries, if those figures represent 10% or 1% of the real total, fatal injuries would extrapolate to 13,560 or 135,600 deaths in the UK respectively.
US
The figures underlined in the table below are derived from the official US adverse events database, VAERS. Further injuries and fatalities for the US lie behind Vigibase, a WHO sponsored adverse reaction website only accessible by health professionals on the payment of a fee.
Figures to 11th June 2021
VAERS: 5,993 deaths and 1,617,975 injuries. Given that official data are known to under-represent real-world injuries, if those figures represent 10% or 1% of the real total, fatal injuries would extrapolate to 59,930 or 599,300 deaths in the US respectively.
Vigibase: 360,000 additional injuries and fatalities.
TOTAL
The figures underlined in the table below are derived from the combined totals of EUDRAVigilance (EU), the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme (UK) and VAERS (US) vaccine injury databases.
Figures to mid-June 2021
EU, UK & US combined: 22,821 deaths and 4,085,204 injuries. Given that official data are known to under-represent real-world injuries, if those figures represent 10% or 1% of the real total, fatal injuries would extrapolate to 228,210 or 2,282,100 deaths across the EU, UK and US respectively.
